Sri Lanka Announces Squad for SAFF U-20 Championship in Nepal
The Sri Lankan Football Federation has unveiled a 23-member squad set to represent the nation at the upcoming SAFF U-20 Championship, slated to begin on August 18th in Nepal. The tournament will see Sri Lanka competing in Group ‘A’ against hosts Nepal and Bangladesh in the first round.
The squad, comprising a blend of promising young talent, will aim to make a strong impact in the regional tournament. The Islanders will kick off their campaign against Nepal in their first match at the Dashrath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu, the venue for all tournament games.
